I had pre-ordered this game sometime in May, and can't wait for it to come out. What are your guys' oppinions
Personally I find the latest CoD's as the same thing, you'd be alright just buying Call of Duty 4 and enjoying the few mods on there now, that, and the dedicated servers on there that are actually helpful.

I buy the new COD games because it has become a tradition. COD is the most profitable gaming franchise of all time. I think if you consider yourself a hardcore fan of video games in general you HAVE to buy the annual COD game. It's just the way it is.
mw3 i think its worth it black ops was bad so i think mw3 is wirth it or what u want to be stuck to black ops for another year and buy the next game that exectly looks like cod 5 and cod7 and if you want it really bad don't preorder it u probly will get it 4 days later

Considering that Infinity Ward are developing it...
...and all the good people at Infinity Ward left...
...I'm not getting it.
I think MW3 is worth it. Even though I'm a Halo fan, I loved MW and MW2, but I didn't like Black Ops (did like the zombies and weapons though). Let's just hope MW3 will be better, can't wait to see captain Price and Soap. Sad that Ghost died though =c.
You should be excited for MW3. However, don't forget about Battlefield 3. BF3 is going to be amazing!!
Absolutly not. I have made the mistake of buying the SAME GAME for 4 years. Same game modes, same guns (either modern or WW2) and it has become VERY REPETITIVE. The MW3 gameplay released at E3 was nothing special or new. Same MW2 graphics, same engine and same guns. Only new thing I saw was a player to swap scopes on his gun. Sigh... Battlefield 3 will be SOOOOOOO much better
Okay, so everyone has complained it's all the same, and I agree. But I have a question: What could the developers do to make MW3 different? It's a first person shooter, there can't be too much that could be changed.
if your a hardcore gamer then you are willing to spend money.
so here is the deal nearly everyone never played both games. maybe battlefield 3 might be a game that looks good on video but crappy during game play.
maybe MW3 might have a different experience despite it looking like MW twin
here is the deal...(as i said if you are a hardcore gamer you are willing to spend)
get both.
play both.
decide the best.
id get mw3 because just because i want to find out what happens during the campaign, the online play is annoying as he*l because 3 yr olds play, just the other day on mw2 a kids said "i be on later i gotta go to daycare" Really? but maybe mw3 will have something like Russian Zombies in a DLC or normal with the game
It has à survival mode where you fight Against waves of enemy 's
But i think COD isnt bought for THE gameplay but for THE name just like Nike. You dont buy it for THE quality but for THE name
I think its worth it. Even though Black Ops seriously disappointed me, I remembered that it was made by trey-arc, which has made all of my least favorite CoD games in the series. 1,3,5,and 7. MW3 will be made most likely my infinity ward, which has made all of my favorites, 2,4 and 6. Also, modern warfare 1 and 2 were my top 2 favorites, and the idea of a thrid modern warfare game just sounds amazing to me.
