When I say rock I mean rock in general like alternative, grunge, metal, and so forth and the same goes for rap. I'm personally a rock only guy with Nirvana being the best band that ever lived. Anyhow, which do you think is better?

Today's rap and rock, no. Rap and rock from years ago, yes. They're pretty even for me, although I mainly listen to rap.
