Yeah, it's outrageous. All the facts were staring the jury right in the face and he acquitted everything except false information to a law enforcement officer in reference of a missing person? Come on...
Why do you think she did it? I assume it's because you want someone to blame and assuming it was the suspect is a lot easier than actually solving crimes. She was tried and acquitted. Innocent until proven guilty.

It's just my opinion that I deem it is very unreasonable that she was last seen with her child for a month before claiming she was kidnapped by a fake nanny before she left with her child. And all of the lies that were told to the officers she encountered can't possibly be righteous; you only lie to cover up something you don't want to be known.
It's because she had a "retty face" in my opinion. The jury didn't want to send a young woman to death row.
To be 100% honest, I didn't think she was all that pretty. But to stay on topic, I don't know too much about the law, but the evidence they gave leads me to believe she did it. And if you watched her face throughout the trial, she only cried for the jury. All the rest of the time she was just fine or stone-faced. She showed no emotion as her dad was just falling apart on the stand as he was reading his suicide note.
Let's not forget that she changed her story several times, and even accused her family of sexually assaulting her when she'd been acting perfectly normal around them in other scenarios.

I agree; the cry looked staged. For goodness' sake, it's her daughter. And all she can do is escape a few tears, especially after all that had been going on?
Honestly, I'm not surprised. If they could acquit O.J Simpson because of a leather glove, then it's no stretch of the imagination that acquitted Casey Anthony. Welcome to reality folks.
They say she will likely get a sentence of Time Served for the charges she was found guilty on, such as lying to the police.
According to my mom, she got four 1-year sentences. Apparently they're letting her carry out all of those on the same year, and they may let her go Thursday since she was in jail all that time waiting for her trial. Ugh.
Anyways, Not guilty my left foot. I don't know much about everything, but I do know enough to believe that she played a big part in the murder, if not pulling it off herself. I mean, just listen to her stories. The whole time before the trial, she was saying she dropped her daughter off at a babysitter's house and never got her back. Once we actually get to the trial, she says her daughter drowned in the swimming pool. That is, in my opinion, the biggest bunch of bull of an excuse she could have used. If your kid drowns in the swimming pool, wouldn't you call 911 and get an ambulance over? At least get her out of the water. Really.
