From what I've seen and played of it, it's similar to GTA. That has to be the reason as to why I like it. I haven't had enough time to play L.A. Noire thoroughly, though.
Well the whole driving aspect of the game is a lot similar to GTA but your a cop and you usually lose when you run over people and such and that isn't even the whole aspect to the game it is about solving crimes and questioning people.
This may be a game i want to purchase! I have heard great things about this game.
It's definitely worth the money, the peoples faces are pretty realistic. It is basically like playing a movie. Let me just warn you it can get pretty graphic and somewhat disturbing. It is still a really fun game.
I didn't buy it but I watched the entire playthru by GhostRobo on Youtube. It was probably more fun watching it like a movie than I would've had playing it myself. He didn't do a perfect run like some do (like use savestates to get the right answer). He made it what it's supposed to be: a realistic detective story. Real detectives don't get it right all the time. It's a great game. The only thing I didn't like was that when you near the end, there are no interrogations, only chases and shootouts. If you buy it, and you should, I'd recommend playing at least once without any assistance (looking up walkthrus, going online for the answers, etc) and see how you fare as a detective.
