this is the thread to discuss songs that are very powerfull.

by powerfull, i mean those songs that really hit you deep inside.

to me, one of the most powerfull songs ever is creep by radiohead, another one is the scientist by coldplay, and another is wake up by arcade fire.

what do you guys think

Basically any song by The Saddest Landscape and Pianos Become the Teeth are very emotional for me.

Plenty of songs by Coldplay, Owl City, and Green Day are very powerful.

Viva la Vida by Coldplay

Fireflies by Owl City

21 Guns by Green Day

Little Lion Man by Mumford and Sons

People might hate me for listing a song by Linkin Park, but Hand Held High by Linkin Park.

There are more songs I know that i can't think of off hand, I might post them later when I can look at my Ipod playlist.

Do you mean songs that you like in a deepest and meaningful way?

I guess this could be one i used to enjoy and still means something to me:

Sui Generis - cancion para mi muerte

@GhostofMatrix, I dunno why but I giggled a little when I saw all those 50 Cent and Lil Wayne songs. :[

I think the most powerful song I've heard is:
Imagine by John Lennon
The Times They Are a-Changin' by Bob Dylan
Let it Be by The Beatles
While My Guitar Gently Weeps by the Beatles
My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion
Lucia Di Lammermoor by Inva Mulla
A Little Light of Love by Eric Serra

One of the most powerful songs I have ever heard would have to be Amazing - By Aerosmith it really lives up to its name, literally.

Ooh, this is good for me. I've heard a lot of emotionally moving songs recently.

The Lightning Strike by Snow Patrol. I'm not providing a link to this one because there's no full song on Youtube. However, if you have 16 minutes to spare, then watch the 3 separate parts.

Transatlanticism by Death Cab for Cutie. I'm not sure about linking this, since it's blocked in my country, but it may work for you.

The Ocean by The Bravery.

And there you have it. Just listen to 'em.
