Such 'inside planning' would require a level of competence and smoothness of operation that the Bush administration never displayed at... well... anything. Also, if the USA did plan it, then why on earth didn't Bush shift the blame directly onto Saddam? That's all he'd need to do to justify the war in Iraq completely in the eyes of most people.
There are some people in the world that think the USA planned the attack themselves so we could go to war against the Middle East.
Yeah, we call those people idiots. Especially when they blamed a middle eastern terrorist organization, not a middle eastern nation, making it a very bad reason for an invasion.
but who knows, bin laden was working whit the usa befor 9/11 usa gave him weapons wich he could give to his people to fight against the russians that invaded afghanistan at that moment.

USA helped him when he was fighting the sovietsyears before 9/11. Bin Laden became an enemy of the United States already before 9/11.

Its a shame he was sponsored and assisted by various Muslim nations and that Afghanistan was ruled pretty much by people just like Bin Laden at the time.
The United States never gave Bin Laden weapons, they gave arms to the mujaheddin who were Afghani rebels fighting against the Soviet occupation of their country. The US had no way of knowing that they would become terrorists.
did you know who i ment? i bet you did understand.
and yes the usa did give bin laden the weapons. bin laden was the contact person whit the usa goverment at that time. and no the usa wasn't able to know it was going to become a terrorist orgeniesation. but still it's a funny fact that the 2 partys have been dealing weapons befor =P turns out you shoot youself whit your own guns xD
it's not that i realy think it was planned. (planned by the usa that is)
We wouldn't attack ourselves to go to war with middle eastern terrorisim. Before 911 terrorist attacked the USS Cole and no one said that was a planned bombing by the USA government.
Bin Laden was 22 during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, and subsequent uprising of the mujaheddin, he had no contact with the US, you can check the wiki page for further information.
As for the 9/11 attacks, I think it would be an incredibly stupid idea to kill several thousand Americans in order to start a war that will kill even more, essentially something the government isn't capable of. Of course the conspiracy theories exist as they do for all things, and the most frequently asked question I've heard is, "It's NYC, there are planes everywhere, why wasn't that factored in during construction?" It was the problem being that when these towers were built there was no such thing as a Boeing 767, the sheer size of these planes wasn't planned for. And even if it had, no one would expect someone to be stupid enough to fly straight into the towers.

It happens often in history when the common enemy disappears. For example, usually when an empire falls or retreats, all the small groups of people who teamed up to fight the empire start fighting each other instead.

The best way to save more Americas from foreigners would be to surrender any influence out of north America. Its sad but true, sparing some lives from foreigners isn't everything that writes down USA's interests. However, you can also see it this way: By not giving in to terrorism and continuing to influence the outside world, the US economy boomed (for the time) - something that itself saved many American lives.
At first when the conspiracy theories came out i toyed with the idea that it was planned, but Bin laden took responsibility for the attack.
He did take responsibility, but there's no proof other than his confession/boasting. I believe he did organize it or at least oversee its organization.

The thing that doesn't make sense if it was planned by the US is that if they did it just to start a war, they would've immediately blamed Hussein and Iraq for doing it. That way it'd be a war against a country and allies would get involved, not just us against a few hundred extremists hiding in caves and schools.
My dad is into this stuff so he tells me about it. He thinks USA did plan it. The buildings fell straight down, and the metal was broken or melted or something and it had to be much hotter then the plane was. And I think it could have been proven that there was bombs. I guess I think US planned it.
