I was wondering when you download content to your xbox 360, such as black ops map packs, if it is okay to copy them to another xbox 360. I noticed this when i went to the system memory and went to a map pack and the option to copy was available. Will it be invalid or what would happen if i copied it?
But if your thinking that if you can copy the DLC to another account other than the one you bought it with, won't work.
How so? The reson im asking about this is because i might have t put my account on another xbox as my brother could move out of the house soon. (implying i would need to buy another xbox). but obviously the new xbox wont have the dlc. so will copying be ok and still work?
Because as far as the Xbox is concerned, X player bought Y content, if Z player wants to play Y content, even if s/he's on the same box, they will have to pay. XBL can't determine if two Accounts are on 1 box. That's called stealing.
Besides that, the copy option is for copying content to other memory units connected to your Xbox, your memory cards, hard-drive, or usb ports.
