I knew manga as the explicit material kind so far.

Well comics are good because they usually have color. but manga is better because I've grown up around it and i think they have a better plot and better drawings.
BTW this i think should go in the popular media section, and there might be another thread like this but i'm not sure.

I'll destroy the title and say graphic novels trumph all.

But between manga and comics, comics keep you more involved.

I prefer mangas simply because they have more of a story to them.

Still, at many times I prefer comics because I just want to laugh.

I would disagree and say they both can keep you involved

the are both very simmilar, but the thing is that manga has deeper stories, and it also has some manga based on soime popualar lisenses such as megaman.Alot of comics nowdays are only based on well established backrounds, and there is not to much new. That is why i think manga should win.

Erm. There is no difference. Manga = japan comics.

Manga, Manhwa, comic... It is all the same in general. "Story in images". It is all based on writing and drawing abilities.
Sure, famous american(DC and Marvel) and japan comics have different target audience, but why you compare only these things? I know good italian, spain and russian comics, and even american comics which is not about superheroes.

Well, in my opinion the two seem good but I like a little more comics
