I have heard many people say that boosting is cheating, but is it really? If someone boosts to level up, don't they end up paying for it when they suck it up in competitions? Is boosting achievements bad considering that achievements aren't even part of the base game and don't affect gameplay? Leave your thoughts below.
For those who don't know what boosting is. Anyway, anything that makes games easier for the people who lack skills in games is pretty much cheating. Like cheat codes or hacking.
Well I'm not gonna lie, I have boosted, but it was for a ridiculous trophy. Ever heard of the Auf Weidersehen Petrovic trophy for GTA IV? You have to win every variation of multiplayer games. That, by itself isn't too hard, but when there are over 200 variations of racing, it gets kind of ridiculous. I don't think I know anyone who didn't boost that trophy
its a bit of a wierd area tbh some games require insane ammounts of grinding to gean ranks etc but its generally frowned upon genral rule of thumb shooters with ranking=frowned upon rpg games =accepted or even encouraged
You must have 1) No Skill 2) Have No Life 3) Be a Retard To be boosting. It's just that simple
id kinda disagree there, it all depends on what your playing take for example an old game like d2, id say at least 90% of the players boosted through lower difficulties, and once through would farm or boost in the highest level areas to level up faster there it didnt bother anyone, because even boosting it took massive ammounts of time
