I would say someone from after the Revolutionary War in my family, because my family were loyalists. They were moved up to Canada or west by the King and given land. My mothers side wasn't even in America at the time.

That would just be like a giant middle finger to them. It's basically saying "Neanderthals suck, homo sapiens are awesome." Who would want to be brought into the future just to have their entire race insulted?
On a side note, I saw something on the Discovery Channel or one of those educational science programs that cavemen may still exist in certain places on earth. But this isn't the place to get into that discussion right now. Actually I can't even remember what the topic is at this point.
