Hi guys, I dont know if there's already a topic like that one.
I heard that Battlefield 3 for console will be 720p and with 30fps and CoD 1080p and 60 fps or higher so i dont know what to buy because battlefield looks really good

First of all, where is your source? It is not like DICE to limit players FPS and even on console they would never do it on such an extent. That, and CoD on Console has always been 60 FPS - only changable on PC (for CoD4 and Black Ops at least) using commands (not in MW2, other games not yet mentioned I honestly don't know).

I'd say neither. Don't get me wrong - they can be great games in their own respects but BF3 is using this backstabbing preorder-bonus thing that hinders gameplay for buyers (not preorder-ers :P ) and MW3 has high chance to be MW2 with tweaks - equal to about a major content patch in World of Warcraft, whilst making you pay a subscription for it in the form of Call of Duty: Elite.
Which is a severe fail.
If you don't go against any of these traits or you do and don't have a spine, then you shouldn't have a problem getting either. Personally I rather Battlefield, slightly-slower paced, equally adrenline-rushing, tactical, strategic, "oomph" when you see that Fence get blown to pieces in front of you, etc.

Yes it will be 720p and 30 fps, any higher would break the consoles. And MW3 will be 60 Fps but it won't be 1080p, no COD to date has been 1080p and I seriously doubt it will be. It's just going to be stretched to 1080p just like every other COD.

Please explain, I follow all their news and have never seen this.
