Hi everyone. This topic is about the game Shell Shock Live (as the name suggests). I know that there is other topics about it, but i wanted to do one by myself. Here we can discuss about the game itself, its features, suggestions and even problems (mostly 'cuz of connection issues).
To begin, I would like to introduce a game concept i'm trying to invent: Active Discussion. I think the players could reunite to 'talk-n-shoot' about stuff in "clean chatting" rooms, 'cuz there are dudes that only talk thrash stuff, like some players who state that are girls and keep asking things during the whole match.
I am doing some kind of 'field research' about my concept: the rooms that are intended for Active Discussion are entitled 'A-D' and then the match's intended 'discussion theme'. Anyone who wants to join, look for it on the game's lobby. Anyone who wants to discuss about it or about the game itself please submit your messages on this topic.
You can filter profanity in the chat rooms and in the game lobby. If you made the game, you can also kick players for cussing in the game lobby. And while playing, you can mute players curse sporadically.
But the main people who curse in that game are the guest players. I'm not all guests do and people playing with accounts don't, but whenever I encounter players swearing, 9 out of 10 times it's coming from guest players. And there's nothing really anything that can be done about guest players from AG.

Yeah, i know about that. But kicking people for cursing isn't too effective, because they barely speak while in the lobby. And muting people isn't that good too, because this will transform a 6-player possible clean discussion in a 5-or-less players (2 players discussions often happen) boring discussion. More people to discuss with, more fun in SSL matches.
Oh, and, by the way, i've never used profanity filter... i dont know if it works or it can be avoided if people speak with uncorrectly writed profanities. I've saw cases where the Profanity Filters were avoided by adding a single letter to the word.
About the guests: yeah, you're right about them. I guess the only solution to this is no-guest rooms...
Thanks for the reply. If you have any comments or suggestions about Active Discussion or the game itself, send me a reply.
