I have always wondered where confiscated marijuana is brought after being confiscated by the authorities. I think they sell it to other countries. either that or they smoke it themselves lol
Some police forces sell the confiscated drugs. For example, the Montreal police chief was caught red handed by video camera taking boxes of the stuff off the shelves.
As pointed out - some police forces/officers probably end up selling it on or using it themselves. I think that, depending on the country, they're supposed to incinerate it or find some other way to destroy it though.
A theory i have is that the governments make quite a bit of money selling it to places where it's legal.
that whold be the netherlands. well i am from the netherlands. and i can tell you that we do not have need for usa marijuana. we have loads ourself and the only import of marijuana that we have is from marocco because they make the best hash there is. in the netherlands we have waaayyyyy beter quality marijuana then anywhere in the world and it whold be just stupid of us to buy it from the usa.
i think that most of your confiscated marijuana gets sold as medical marijuana that some gets smoked by the cops themself, that ome cops sell it back to the street for some extra money. and that some of it just gets burned for electricity. those whold be the most logical.
but your confiscated marijuana will absolutly not being sold to the netherlands.

Also as I doubt you are an expert on the imports of your country or a business owner who actually buys the product, I highly doubt that you know what you're talking about.
As for the OP, as others have said in theory it's supposed to be held for a time then incinerated, is that true? I would hope so, but as I am not a policeman, nor do I know anyone who is, I can't say for sure. Although I'm sure some of it is sold to medical marijuana retailers in California.
Don't they use it for reeling people in? I've seen several episodes of Cops where they would get an undercover cop to get a person to purchase drugs, then they'd take that person to jail.
They should make ropes and paper with it. Would be a more "ecological" option. Reselling it or using it doesn't sound too bad, except for the fact that they are being ****ing hypocrites.
Those things are made from the fibrous portions of the plant, woody stalks and stems. The buds are mostly only good for consumption.

I've trolled the internet and there's no evidence of the government Importing - there's actually a huge law against it. I've visited Amsterdam several times, and my friends from there said your claim is false - so do you have any evidence?
