Let me preface these remarks by stating that I do appreciate that AG is a free website, and that I know just how important the advertising is in generating a revenue stream for the organisation.
For me though, it's a real annoyance (and distraction from game play) when the ads above and below the game flicker or flash during the game.
So, I did find it helpful when there was an ad the other day which actually had a pause button on it.
I'd like to respectfully request that either the ad above or below the game be a static one. That way I can scroll the browser window up or down to avoid the flickering of its counterpart.
Yes, I do know that I can press Ctrl-Plus or Ctrl-Minus to magnify the game area so that the ads are no longer visible, but this isn't always convenient, particularly when the game author hasn't allowed for the game to be enlarged, and you then end up playing the game with a huge area of black around it.
Ctrl+ and Ctrl- is to zoom, but you already knew that, so I thought you might want to tell me a particular game thats doing this so I can test this flickering ads theory.
And relax, because other gaming sites are even more annoying than this one, if this site was annoying in the first place.
