I can't see people getting overly heated over phones, but i might be wrong.
I actually have neither, i have a blackberry. But i've looked into both Androids and the Iphone because i'm considering switching. If i do, it will be iphone. I think it offers a lot more than android phones - although androids tend to look nicer.
I like to look at this like the CoD versus Battlefield debates. Androids are CoD, while Iphone is Battlefield. There's tons of Androids and they're all pretty much the same, yet the users claim each one is completely different and will occasionally bash Iphone. While Iphone is pretty much the same story, but it has more stuff to go with it. And when confronted with an Android user and is bashing the Iphone, the Iphone user makes quick work of shutting down the Android user. Android user walks off ticked off even though the user knows his/her phone is worse, yet still pursues that Iphone is worse because they don't know how to use and Iphone. See my metaphor?
