So there's a new game on the site, Mega Miner. Seems like a good game, (I was bankrupt 5 minutes into the game). But does the game seem familier to anyone? Seems to be a rip-off of Motherload. Anyone else notice this? It is exactly the same, except Mega Miner has lower graphics/bugs in it. What do you think? Is it a rip-off of Motherload?
The mystery what you're going to find down there ist what keeps you focused. You just have to find it out, and trust me - it's worth the pain.^^ There will be a final battle and you have to have loads of extra fuel, repair kits and dynamite to defeat the boss. It's like, 'oooh, I won the game - HOLY ****, I have to fight?'
You've forgotten some things on your list: Pro: You don't die, because the fuel station won't recoginse you. This didn't just make ML harder, it was unnecessary roughness against the player.^^ Con: You can't 'win' MM. Con: You won't be rewarded for finishing MM. Con: There is no plot in MM. Con: (as fuggles mentioned) No physics at all. I don't want to take chances when I let myself fall into a deeeeeeeep hole that I eiter find the right time to pull it up again, crash, die and lose everything or go slowly so my fuel won't last, but a little bit of gravity or something would be fun. Con: The prizes don't grow exponentially, as well as the costs, making it a grinding game. Con: You make comparably insane amounts of money by completing the tasks, which led me to completely mine the whole ground of the first 300 metres. Con: The cooler totally limits you. Once you drop below the required depth you gotta get out immediatly, IIRC in ML, the cooler only reduced the damage taken from explosions.
