I found this three year old list from AskMen as soon as I started my search. It seems to have pissed a few people off. The comment section is full of fools who don't seem to comprehend what of all time means.
The article it solely ranks players based on some sort of statistical formula - which is why you don't see Bob Cousy or Isiah Thomas in there.
Anyway, I'd have to agree that Magic Johnson is number one. As for a current point guard, I really can't tell.
I'm guessing current. By the examples. Right now the best overall point guard is Chris Paul. He has the second best stats in the NBA and the hornets would be a bottom ten team without him.

Probably meant she's a Lakers fan so that heavily influenced the vote.
The usage of 'though' would more strongly suggest that one chose someone in spite of being a fan of a different team, rather than the choice of someone being biased because of a predisposition to a particular team.
