This band - a lot of people have forgotten.

May this band be remembered.

They have actually made big hits and they also make very good songs.

I like Coldplay too. There music is deep and meaningful.

they have, i dont think they are for download on itunes though. atleast i think anyways. you can find it on there website, the song is called

Every Teardrop is Like a Waterfall


coldplay is just unstoppable. them, radiohead, and arcade fire just keep pushing out AMAZING material time and time again. im glad i have bands like those defining my generation, cause when we look back on music in 20 years, im positive those will be the ones that stand out

Is this a joke? We Coldplay fans are just a little more discreet, that's all: it sounds like you're talking about some antique band here.

Every Teardrop is Like a Waterfall

Yeah, about that...I know they're evolving and all but that song kind of disappointed me. I really LOVED Christmas lights, but the beginning of the new track really sounds too electronical to me. The end's great though, but unlike the older material, I don't quite like the entire song as much as the others.

To be honest, when they were first popular, I found them to be somewhat irritating, but perhaps that was only because they were overplayed in my area.

Now I'm pretty neutral towards them; I don't necessarily like their music, but I can't say I dislike it either.

I don't think they've been forgotten, they've just as Ernie said wen't downhill i guess.
Their older stuff was amazing to listen to, their new stuff not so much.

I generally don't really like their music, but there's one song I love: The Scientist. Very beautiful song, and the clip is original too.

well in america, they are a more "mainstream" radiohead. not that radiohead is "indy" or anything, they just arent big at all in the states.

coldplay isnt as synthy as radiohead either, but ya. its that sort of genre

It's a shame some of Coldplay's better songs, like "Fix You" , "Christmas Lights" , or "Swallowed in the Sea" are'nt played on the radios. But I'm satisfied with Violet Hill, The Scientist and such.

And they were just on the Vevo's top 10. They are'nt going anywhere.


As I've said in other threads, I've never met a Coldplay song I did'nt like.
