If you live in the U.S. , you've probably been affected by this heat wave. What do you do to keep cool? Do you swim? Drink lots of water? Or do you do something crazy yet effective?
Rule 2: If you find yourself outside, immediately go inside.
It's really the humidity that kills me. I can stand the most brutal Arizona dry heat, but anything above ninety degrees with high humidity is a recipe to stay inside at all costs.
We have A/C in my house, so it is quite cold, which I like. But when I am working out in the heat I wear shorts, sweat wicking shirt and socks, and wear a baseball cap to block the sun from my eyes. I also drink ice water form a cooler, so that it stays cold all day. And I sweat, a lot.
