Hello fellow AG users.

I'm brazilian. The government here is a little dysfunctional: too much corrption, too little results.

I made this topic for people who would like to comment on their country's government or know the politics around the world.

Do anyone have something to say about your country's government? C'mon! There is a lot of talking to be done about this!

That's pretty much the same story here in America, dude. I'm starting to get tired of all these selfish politicians and think something needs to happen. I think that there shouldn't be as many people in the government for starters. The more people making decisions, the more disagreements, the further we sink into debt. Our credit rating has fallen, which will have an impact on credit card companies, buying homes, and basically everything. Needless to say, we need to do something.

Uh... right now, there is almost no bad things happening.

Just seemingly uncommon things that happens often: corruption, public hospital doctors are working too little, teachers claiming payments, strikes on schools, train stations, bus companies, I think that's all.

It would help to know where your friend lived.

Rio de Janeiro: Used to be violent with gangs and drug trafficking. Calmer now.

Rain caused floods last year.

School massacre early this year. Look for "Realengo School Shooting" on Wikipedia for more info.

Economy: Prices are way too high. Argentinian government is making trouble when trading goods with Brazil (that causes goods and imports to be blocked on the ports and borders)

Send me more info about what you need to know and I'll reply to you.

No way! I thought the US was recovering since 2008 Crisis. I thought you were doing fine. Can you tell me more about it?

Thanks man I will look some of it up, and to Joe96 I totaly agree Washington is acting like spoiled childern and onley doing things that benifit them and "The job creators" and on top of that they wont listen to the people of America! The U.S needs to do something and change its way it has been handleing things or else the american people will come down hard on them and when I mean come down hard on them im talking a revolution.

Heh. If you think that US is going down the hill, look at the corruption here in Brazil. The population here seems a little "off-topic" when talking about politics. On the 90s, a man named Fernando Collor was named president: he stole all the people's savings and was impeached a few days later. Years after that he was named governor of a state. At least the US population know something about politics and choose it's politician (a little bit) better than we do here.

Aye! I'm from Canada. And the government here isn't too bad. We have a couple of problems, not as major as the US, but still. Problem is, we do not like change, we hate to take decisions, even through this country has potential. It sure makes you want to lead the country, with all does opportunities. Anyways, many of the problems aren't so hard to fix, like education program failures, overcrowded hospitals/government buildings, environment protection from the greedy companies.

overcrowded hospitals/government buildings

This happens here too. Hospitals are filled with people waiting to be attended. This happens for two reasons.

First, doctors miss work because of the huge shifts and low salaries.

Second, too much people and too little beds.

As much as I would like to see a big country like the U.S or the United Kingdom or some other country come in and clean up all of thoes countrys like Brazil, Burma, and 99% of Africa none of these countrys will do it becouse either they are faceing there own problems or they are just to lazy to do it.

Yeah well even when 1st world nations work through the UN to try and do this all they get is grief about meddling in others countries. Plus why is it their job to clean up other's nations?

What do you mean by that? I live in Brazil and it's not "dirty" here, also every country has problems but a country being lazy? That doesn't exist. I actually find this post offensive and the perfect example of international prejudice. Maybe you should get your facts straight before posting something like this.

I got to agree with Dregus. Our country has it's issues, but a lazy country is not valid.

When I say issues I say small, politic ones (read the first page) and not general poverty nor thrash around the streets.

That's offensive, yes.

@xSnakeeaterx Take it easy with your opinions dude.
