alright so here's a basic walkthrough of a very fun game
firstly, in this game, money is the key to survival. leveling does not help you survive nearly as much as buying a better gun, more first aid kits, and land mines. on my second playthrough, i had a minigun, a ton of mines, and a fully repaired truck by level ten. all you have to do is use your skill points wisely and your money even more so
the hand gun will get you very far if you use it right. start the game by repairing the truck until the first rabbit gets near you. fire the whole clip at him and immediately start repairing again once you're reloading. continue this process until you are either forced to flee from attackers or you need to get the door.
if you've leveled by now, increase the businessman skill and the reload skill, they are key to survival.
once you have the door on the truck you should be able to afford the uzi, if not, save your money until you can, the shotguns are nice, but you need rate of fire right now. be sure to keep healing yourself as needed.
once you have the uzi, you should be able to hold off on buying anything else until you can afford the M16. use land mines only when you are swarmed. they have a damage limit, but can hurt any number of surrounding zombies.
if you have 40 more hp than your first aid kits can heal (90 at level 0, 115 at level 1, 140 at level 2) be sure to upgrade your medicine skill, doing it earlier is a waste of points as you have an hp cap.
once i had the M16 i didn't upgrade again until i had enough for the minigun. also, i didn't put any points into regeneration, accuracy, or car durability. regeneration is way too slow to help, accuracy is unneeded because you're less likely to miss than hit even if you fire wildly, and i didn't use the car as a shelter the whole time.
once you have the minigun start focusing on repairing the vehicle. use mines to cover your back when you go out to get parts, and pursue the zombies near the end of the wave to give you time to repair before the next wave shows up.
if the big guys are giving you a hard time, take out their knees and they fall, making them much slower. land mines also take out legs, and can kill the birds at close range
on my last runthrough i had 1.7 million points before i died of carelessness. so just follow these tips and you'll be fine
