Saw about five minutes of Avatar the Last Airbender. It must have been so hard to keep a straight face while filming that movie. Cause before special effects its like a mix of martial art dance yoga...
@zydrate. in the show the motions weren't exaggerated at all, they actually made sense. in the movie when aang made that huge tornado, that was completely exaggerated. you don't have too make that many moves, just spin around a lot and its done. not a whole dance routine like they did in the movie.
I do admit the motions they were using seemed silly or exaggerated, but you kind of get used to it. They did the same thing in the show.
How were they?

And your thread left out some details there. So do you hate the show or are you just saying something about the movie?
Eh, the movie only covered a third of the series. I thought it was ok but not the best thing I've seen. If you want to know the whole story you have to watch the cartoons.
I loved the anime cartoon but the movie had MANY flaws. Some of the actors I'd say weren't fit for the roles, they made the movements exaggerated in battle (as stated by another above), and didn't they pronounce his name wrong, I mean it's Aang not Aung which is what it sounded like when the actors said it. Those are only a few. Now on Netflix my brother and I sometimes watched old episodes from the show and then other stuff.
Oh yeah! I remember the anime cartoon! They were soo cute! They kicked out the warriors like the girls! They were totally exaggerated and they totally spelled the name wrong! The characters aren't fit for the part either!!!!
