Hi music fans. The brazilian music festival Rock in Rio that happens since 1985 in Rio de Janeiro (with other versions in Lisbon and Madrid) will happen this year. From September 29th to October 2nd, there will be several shows. Including:

-> Katy Perry
-> Rihanna
-> Elton John
-> Snow Patrol
-> Red Hot Chili Peppers
-> Motorhead
-> Slipknot
-> Metallica
-> Ke$ha
-> Jamiroquai
-> Stevie Wonder
-> Joss Stone
-> Shakira
-> Coldplay
-> Evanescence
-> Guns'n'Roses
-> System of a Down...

and several brazilian singers!

Out of all of those people the one I would want to see the most is Elton John.

My brother is freaking because Slipknot and SOAD will go but he can't afford the tickets... :P

Looks like they decided to make it earlier. Rock in Rio started yesterday with the shows of: Katy Perry, Elton John and Rihanna (besides other brazilian singers.)

The festival is being shown live in the internet. Everyday until October 1st (last night of the festival), the shows will start at 6 PM (Armor Games time) and end at 1:15 AM.

Today, the highlights are: Stone Sour, Snow Patrol and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

i thought stone sour was with this line up as well, cause i remember mike portnoy saying that he was drumming with them temporarily

I personally think that Ke$ha shouldn't be there, she's all autotune. Not much talent with her if you ask me.

The third day of the festival is today! The highlights for today are:

Motorhead (starting 8:40 PM and ending at 9:40 PM)
Slipknot (starting 10:10 PM and ending at 11:20 PM)
Metallica (starting 11:50 PM and ending at 1:15 AM)

Cool Festival, i wish i lived in Rio, these days!
In Denmark, there is the Scandinavia's biggest Festival called Roskilde Festival, i can't remember when it was, but it was in July!

Yesterday, Coldplay played. It was awesome!

Tonight, Rock In Rio says goodbye, but with great shows!
