I was watching the news erlier tonight and they were talking about plan C. I don't really understand it but if you can describe it that would be great.
It's Obama's attempt at reaching a compromise between the economic plans of the parties. I doubt it will happen. They're too divided.
The heads of the party really aren't. Boehner was chill with some tax ups, and Reid was chill with cutting entitlements. There's just a bunch of new Republicans that would rather live in a gutter than support a small revenue increase of any kind, which makes Democrats uneasy because the burden of cutting the debt is even greater, and all of it has to be put on entitlements as the Republicans want the government to be as poor as can be.

Well Obama hasnt done any good yet so why support his idea, apparently u have some grudge aginst Reps, which is why ur explination makes no sense. Why would the reps want the USA to b poor? They just dont want to keep pushing the debt ceiling any farther up then it is already, which is whats gonna keep making us poor. Get ur head out of the gutter. Its becuase of leaders tht think like u, tht we havent done anything bout it yet.
C'mon.. if the republicans really would want to get the usa out of this, they wouldn't block the debates like that.. Why would they want the usa to be poor? They don't necessarily want to, but they prefer that comparing to loosing their voters after raising taxes. Or let go an opportunity to blame the state's downfall on the democratic president.
I always make it clear that i know barely anything/ don't really give a toss about American politics.. But. The fact it's Plan C implies A and B failed? Was there a plan A and B? If so, what were they and how will they differ from this? Hoping for third time lucky?

I think the 'C' stands for 'compromise'. Plan A was letting Congress figure it out on their own, but they were too divided and kept getting nowhere. Plan B is plan C but some n00b at Fox News changed the label so they could tie it to compromise. Nearly every other news station calls it plan B (which is kind of ironic because Plan B is an abortion pill, so perhaps the real plan is to default).
