hey, did anyone beat this level yet:

Twin Rivers - Normal Difficult - Iron Challange Mode

I tried it already like 10 times with different strategies, but it seems like impossible for me to beat that level without artillery...

Just googled this and ended up here.

I have the same problem. It does seem impossible with no mage towers or artillery and the starting money given. No matter how you start it you get overrun fairly simply.

Perhaps if you can time with a seconds timer when the worst wave arrives and you drop the inferno at the exit point a second before it, but that seems a bit tedious to go thru.

If anyone makes it, give us shout how it was done. A video would be even nicer.

The thing with this game is that you can't grind upgrades to make the game easier for yourself - or at least it only works to a certain extent. The fact that each stage restricts you to your a certain tower upgrade level is somewhat annoying, but it's also what makes the game challenging.

I can barely beat some of the challenges on 'easy'; I don't want to know what it's like doing them on normal!

I got all the way to dead lands before I knew I was playing on normal. lol with 25 stars too. once you get to dead lands is just confusing. first way is armor so you build mage towers and waste all you money...then 15 seconds later at the back of the map skeletons spawn out of a grave yard. so I just tired massing arrow towers with guards in the middle but the armored foes just walk thought it.

An armory with some archers and bombs should work very well

killkid - I assume you are talking about the level "The Wastes". For that level I find that massing wizard towers works fairly well. I completed both the heroic and iron challenge on this level using only wizard towers.

It was realy hard to beat, but i managed. I was trying multiple strategies, but this one worked the best (still it took me about 10 tries with this strategie.

I saw this video, and created my own version of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afJE6HdkWsM&feature=related

1. all barracks are still barracks, but all shooting things are archers. Position the men the same way he did. After doing this you should have 20 coins.
DON'T UPGRADE ANYTHING YET!

2. you place the reinforcements only on the side where the wolves come. I used the meteor strike once, somwhere in the middle (once again on the wolfpack).

3.In the video he left an empty spot. When the goblins starts to overwhelm yoo, you should put an archer there.

4. you need to upgrade the barracks in the south east once. right of his wizards (right of your archers).
the you need to upgrade your archer in the south (left on the outerside of the circle.
then the archer left of the barracks you upgraded
then you need the upgrade the most north archer
then the barracks next to it
then the archers in video, who are on the right side of the river
then the archers where at the start an empty spot was
then the barracks that are most north (this is the second time you upgrade them)

Im not sure if that was the correct order how to upgrade, but it where the correct buildings, and the correct amount, you may have to adjust the order of the upgrading

PS. if you want a picture, sent me your email.

Anyone know how to get the last 2 stars? I beat all modes on every map but only have 60/62 stars.

Click the facebook and twitter links, you don't have to do anything at all once you've clicked them, it automatically gives you the stars.

Finally got all 62 stars on Normal and yes I was stuck at Twin rivers Iron Challenge for a long while.

A few hints:

-Unlike most other maps you can't afford much in the way of soldiers, in fact, i used none, trying to block the horde of enemies just won't work well, you need the damage.
-The right hand side where the wolfs come are your main concern, spend alot more gold on that side especially in the start or you will get swamped.
-Since the left side moves slower it's easier to see and predict when you need to add towers/upgrade before you get swamped.
-Well timed fire helps, hit them in the bottom, idealy just before the breaking point of getting swamped, that way you use both towers and rain at the same time.

I wouldn't try it unless you have fully upgraded arrow, fire, reinforcments and maybe even baracks even though you don't use em

Fantastic tower defence game with an original twist (micro-able soldiers) that actually works great.

HeeeeEY !!!

I finally found a good tactic to beat the HARDEST LEVEL "Twin Towers - Iron Challange - Normal difficult".

I recorded it, so here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NgE8JFXEiM

Here you can view the Walkthroughs to all other Heoric and Iron Challanges in NORMAL difficult:

elfi, you can start by reading this thread from the beginning.

Strawhat: seems there are a few ways, i did it by starting like this:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/109/twinr.png/

The soldiers down south were all moves more to the left. It was a bit more smoother of a run, not wolves got past to the last point, maybe 5 in total. Just upragrading the shoter tower to lvl 2 when the gold came, it was rather simple in the end.

I was surprised that the left side (goblins) never managed to break thru, even once. and it was held just by those 4 bulidings.

Anayway, great game, hope they give us more maps soon. Or perhaps let the comunity make maps.
