So I was doing my math homework for the summer and I came across something that I forgot and I was wondering if anyone can help me with this problem?

Find the measure of a an angle if the sum of the measure of its supplement and twice the measure of its complement is 207 degrees.

If it helps the equation I got was like this:

(180-x)+2(90-x)=207

But I doubt this is right, all help is appreciated, thanks.

Your equation is correct, so I will use it.

(180-x)+2(90-x)=207
(180-x)+(180-2x)=207
360-3x=207
-3x=-153
x=51

The answer is in bold.

Nice Mathematical Patrick2011.

Rather simple arithmetic, but few would remember it at this time of the summer.
