heh I guess you're talking about CoD MW2 ?
they changed physics for player models, so now it's rag-doll
anims...

and now back to the topic... for me, the best death animations are from "Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy". it's pretty awesome when you kill someone with lightsaber and pounces, twists and turns or when you do they same by hit of the Dark jedi... pretty cool P:

In oblivion where if you die you get the menu screen with load save etc.

In AoE 1 When a Scout dies he flies like 10 meters.

Saint's Row 2, when you power up your punch a little and it sends the victim flying, far away.

The best death animation is in ACB

My personal favourit death scene is .....Super Mario Bros.
ya i know it may be plain but if i keep on seeing it time aftert time after time it doesn't get annoying.

I love Half-life 2 deaths. When shoots in combine with a harpoone it will stay at wall. Or killing zombie with a disc in ravenholme, they are cutting in half.

i like gears of war deaths like curb stomping their faces off or sawing through them.

I think the best is when COD glitches and this happens.

In Crysis 2 when you cook a big alien with this microwave rifle and it explodes.

In 'Metroid.'
Everything (including Samus) explodes when they lose all thier health.

I also like AC 2 to fight with a broom. I take it for a cleaner and crushed head to tamplier
