Hello, my name is KXI and welcome to the first ever Flash Impressions. A first impression type of review, to simulate a users first reactions to a game while having a somewhat experienced gamer to give direction. This is not a full review, just what the game has brought to me in the first few moments of playing the game - when most players make their move to rate it. I am writing this while playing the game to insure the best and unbiased first impression.
Today's game is the new release of The Village Black Smith's Jetpack Jerome!



Now I must admit I played this game before just to make sure everything is working, I didn't spoil much for me. I'm going to be playing with the keyboard this time, I played as the mouse my test run. The game isn't graphic intensive, and there doesn't seem to be a quality option either. I'm greeted by ecstatic Jerome, the voice acting is suitable. The first thing I noticed is that the keyboard isn't as tight as the mouse it, which is reasonable.
Oh good this game has attachments! It looks like they are the type you'll get by playing the game anyway, just what every kid wants! /sarcasm. I'm fine with game achievements but having them where your gonna get them anyway is useless, achievements in my opinion should be something like collectible's where you have to go out of your way for. But on to the game!
I just reached high enough to find starts, now as far as I'm concerned they don't add to my fuel and my score is based on height and they don't add to that. To me the stars are for achievements, but this is my first time really playing the game so I don't really know. :/ One thing that has a plus side is the music is really great, a bit of a retro feel but upbeat. Back to the game!
I now apparently reached space, and was attacked by aliens. I managed to paused while in my space suit that came out of no where to write this. Now the aliens are a bit challenging but provide no major threat as of now, I'm low fuel so the conclusion for this game is fast approaching!
Apparently once you run out of fuel you fall really fast, and then explode. Well this about wraps it up for my impression of Jetpack Jerome, its a fun game that doesn't have a whole lot going for it but the music and the voice acting is great. I don't see myself playing this game for high scores all that often but a solid game indeed. Would love to see a mobile version if Blacksmith is up to it.
I end with my score of 8491.55m/8,491 points, and I'll see you next time with Flash Impressions.
