-Do you think it's fair to get points for writing on other people's walls?
-Do you think you should get extra points for flagging a comment that was deleted, or comments that were upvoted then get a merit? A possibly a penalty if you flag something that blatently shouldn't be flagged?
I think you shouldn't get points for writing on your own wall. Sometimes it is helpful to write on other peoples, so it makes sense that there would be a possibility for points there. Many people do take advantage of it though.
Half of the top 10 have 'earned' their points by posting(80% spam) on others profiles. This should be eliminated. The second one I was thinking of suggesting. I spend more time flagging than I do playing, commenting, voting, and playing.
I agree with them both for the most part. I think some stronger moderating on people's profiles would help. As dank said, I know of at least one in the top 10 that spams more than contributes.
That is what I have been suggesting since the first day. But they said that's what the flags are for . Anything under 5 words is guaranteed to be spam.
I've never understood why you can't post on dead threads, if the OP is still in session.
Things are meant to die, so new threads can come and take their place. Though double threads get locked. I don't know, it's confusing. But the way I see it, if it's a double, it should be locked and the old thread should be bumped. In any other case, the old thread is usually settled and has no need to be revived.
