I don't think so. But the media wasn't talking about Afganistan before the war started, so it didn't say anything about the conditions in which the people had to live there before.

because everyone who isn't a leftist is obviously controlled by the media, sure... I'm not very old (21) but I also was a leftists since I was interested in politics. After reading stuff by Chritsopher Hitchens (also a former leftist, actually he still calls himself socialist), Sam Harris, Henryk M. Broder and other people I realised that I was naive and only listening to one side of the argument (and that's what I always accused the others to do). I still watch/read left-winged medias, e.g. The Young Turks and LiberalViewer on Youtube. I like to hear the arguments of all sides and decide then what's right. So don't say bullsh*t like for me it shows me how easy you agree whit your tv. And btw: The European medias are mainly left-winged...

We can't do anything without increasing the number of terrorists. I guess if you are part of the Muslim sect that went along w/ Saddam and/or any of the other people then you'd like them by default. ...I guess you don't care that he leveled entire cities and killed thousands... that he lined up dozens of children at a time and tortured/executed them? I sincerely doubt that any number of people the terrorists are going to kill (short of nuking) is going to amount to the damage that those people would've done if they'd been left alone.

that was not what this was about. it was about the people (not the terrorists (i'm not supporting them)) that live in afghanistan. and my hate against the usa goverment and military force.
forgive the double... No matter our actions in the Middle East (or anywhere), we're going to have new recruits to the terrorists. Our main goal was Saddam and Osama, correct? Weren't the two connected in some way shape form or fashion?... al-Qaida isn't bound by political boundaries... correct? They're present in lots of places... or am I misinformed?

I want whoever ordered 1 SLOW MOVING, LARGE CHINOOK to pick up 33 people and 20 SEALS to be fired or in jail. How can you make such an order? How? What should of been done is send in multiple fast moving helis with an escort of an Apache to ensure everyone gets back safely. But no. This moron ordered 1 helicopter to pick up 20 men which took years for them to get their training. Absolutely mind numbing how dumb you can be to make an order like that and get away with it.
