It's getting annoying, though, because they're keeping him around for so long. If I recall correctly, Mickey only appeared in a few episodes, and it looks like Rory is lasting at least 2 seasons. I don't understand why the writers expect us to enjoy a character that serves practically no purpose and for whom the other characters have no respect.
I don't know, for some reason he brings out the rampant hatred in me. :P

I think he is supposed to be the down to earth one. The one that is amazed about the time travel stuff.
I have a question about the Silence. How was the Doctor and his companions able to remember them? I know the marked their arms but once you looked away wouldn't you just think to yourself "What is this mark doing on my arm?"
Well there was a whole 3-month gap, so they didn't provide an explanation, at least none that I caught. However, I imagine someone left themselves a note of some sort and began to figure it out while they were away from the influence of the Silence.
I also have an idea for a final episode of the whole show. The Doctor will have to go up against all the enemies, sort of like the Pandorica, but the Master is leading them against the Doctor. Anyone else think that it would be a great ida?

They had already worked out there was an enemy through indirect observation.
Apparently my left eyebrow does a very good David Tennant expression. I don't watch the show, but all of my friends do, so I'll probably get addicted eventually.
The writers have been having a lot of good ideas for episodes this season. Last season was kinda crappy, though. I'm glad there are so many long-term story arcs going on right now. The Silence are fantastic monsters--better than the angels, I think. We've got them going on, plus River, and then (avoiding any spoilers) the recent new arrival and the sudden loss at the start of the season. So many loose ends that need to be tied up!
i really don't like matt smith/11th doctor. became so attached to christopher eccleston and david tennant plus, the costume department make matt smith look like a total tool most of the time ahaha hard to think of DW as the same person/character after 11 incarnations, especially after the earlier ones were all much older than the recent ones.
i wish i could see some of the episodes that were destroyed/lost!
What monster/evil alien species does everyone want to see again? And which ones can you deal without?
I think the Silence is pretty awesome, but of course they're coming back, no worries about that. One that we haven't seen in a while is the Ood, though, and I love the Ood. I think they're adorable. :B
I know they're a classic, but I could deal with never seeing the Cybermen again. They're just unbearably campy.
