I love techno (such as basshunter) and classic rock (linkin park) but I hate rap and heavy metal. I hate rap because for me their is no music really, just a guy saying words to the beat of a drum or something. And heavy metal I just hate because it's all yelling.
Pop-punk (like Yellowcard), Rock (like Conditions), Alternative (like The Temper Trap), and lastly, Metalcore (like August Burns Red).
And heavy metal I just hate because it's all yelling.
1. There are more genres of metal than "heavy metal". 2. It's not "yelling", there are other instruments and they incorporate singing in lighter genres of metal too. 3. Many metal songs have quite deep meanings, which means they are actually saying something when they scream.
Do you call that "all yelling"? Listen to "Second And Sebring" by Of Mice And Men and tell me that's "all yelling".
