So there are so many movie trilogies out there, but which is the best?

I would pick Lord of the Rings, with the original Star Wars closely behind. LotR had everything from a great story, amazing characters, and some great special effects, not to mention the two best battle scenes of all time (Minas Tirith and Helms Deep). I don't think any trilogy will ever beat LotR.

There are a lot of great trilogies but I think the best one was the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Pirates of the Caribbean was a great trilogy too.

The origional Star Wars trilogy definately. The first Pirates movie was great, but I didn't like the last two. Some other good trilogies: Back to the Future and Indiana Jones (soon not to be a trilogy).

4. Matrix, 1st was definatly the best

I would say the 28 Days, Weeks, (Coming Soon) Months Later trilogy.

Sure it's not complete yet, but it's still my favorite.

Everybody has said like the same 4 different trilogy's.

I'd go with the Godfather trilogy or Indian Jones. Going to see the forth one tomorrow at midnight.
