The text I put in afterwards is always included in the quote, even if I leave a line in between the quote and seperate text.

To quote a users text, you simply copy/paste their part of the post. You then paste it in your post, highlight it, and press the "quote" button above. It should look like: {quote}Hi I like monkeys{/quote}. Replace {} with []. It then should look like this:

Hi I like monkeys

1. Copy what ever text you want to quote.

2. paste the text into the reply box.

3. highlight the text you just pasted and then click on the quote button.

I always hit Enter a couple of times after the last step, to go down a couple of lines. That might be the troulble

or you can just click the quote button, copy paste what you are quoting, and then click the quote button again.
