The title. But I can't base a thread on just the title, because Mods and Admins can change it. OK, original title: Would the Earth be better without humans?

I say yes.

What are you smoking,no

nothing, im not even smoking joints.

I just hope that someday (real real, soon) humans will stop trying to suck up all the resources that we no longer need and co-exist with nature because lets face it, citys are great social centres but the pollution made by our devices truly disrupts our peace.

I could do with some peace and less ignorant humans around to make stupid wise-cracks in the thinking that this will somehow bestow them with some kind of social status e.g. "So I see that your question is redundant..." and "What are you smoking,no"

So the short answer is, earth would be better with LESS humans.

your are right. i want to know what they would do after there is no more oil.

the earth would do so much better with out humans on it, all humans do is destroy everything we build, we start wars for no reason, we has a species evolved to be the dominate species and when a different group of animals is in are way we just kill them, we have cut down forests moved rivers and changed the land to better are lives we just don't care about anything else.

All, spieces do that look at every-animal but the plant feeders, they kill each other and even the ones eating the plants still destroy the Earth. The reason we do that stuff is because of our way, all living kind to-date is a killing machine wether it be, Animal, Plants, Rivers.

I don't see how killing something "destroys earth". Actually we do it because it is an efficient way to get and transfer energy, to many plants and they block each others sunlight and the small ones die out, so animals eat some plants. In return, animals fertilize the plants with feces and their own body when they die, after of course lowering their population to allow for new growth. Predators keep the herbivores in check, eating them and keeping them from eating to many plants. This system is full of checks and balances and tends to work out well.

Humans have taken this system and changed it quite well to fit our own needs. We are on the top of the food chain, producing the food we like to eat. If we decide something tastes good, it does far better than it ever could in the wild.

Would the Earth be better off without humans? No. Not by many definitions of the word. Since most mean "Better for humans"

Well I think it could be good or bad one without humans polluting the earth the atmosphere would be much better than it is today. Then again one species might kill off another species (just Hypothesizing). So we don;t really know but that is my guess.
