I got bored and came up with this thought provoking question:
Would you kill someone you know (you can't kill yourself) to save the planet? Earth and it's inhabitants are doomed to die if you don't kill someone you know.
The way I see it, that person is going to either die by the planet being destroyed, or by me killing him. If it comes down to that, I figure it would be best to take that person out without bringing everyone else down with him.
^this. Either way you're gonna kill people, just chose the way you kill less. Maybe I would ask around if someone is willing to sacrifrice him/her-self, among the ones I know. If noone would, I'd have to make the choice..
I will kill one man for saving the planet.. But i will not kill a random person i will kill a dying man. Because he is about 2 minutes to die.. So i can just kill him.
It depends...who would you kill and how would you have to do it? Also, before I would take someone's life for the greater good of the planet, I'd have to at least ask them first, otherwise that wouldn't be right (not that it's necessarily right anyway).
I'd walk into a hospital and get to know the patients that are terminally ill, then ask them if they would like to sacrifice themselves to save the people of the world. That way, it gives them a chance to make up their mind about doing it, and not me overriding their will.
I would find someone I can persuade to be killed... probably someone terminally ill? I find it ridiculous killing someone that doesn't want to be a sacrifice.
I'll just leave it at that. This scenario is a bit barebones. It seems any bugger on the verge of pushing daisies counts as a valid choice.
It's a him or me thing. I'd kill him in the most brutal way possible, since it's likely him blowing us up.
I forget why I hold you in such high esteem sometimes.
If it was something they would be responsible for, I'd try persuasion and force, but if it was clear their action would kill, who cares about the rest of the world, kill ME, then if all else fails, then they've got to go!
