How could I forget it.. of course the Dagger of Time is the finest blade out there! It seems to never break, and with it you can go back in time, or slow down time, and other time tricks in order to give you superiority in a battle. And it looks neat
Holding isn't the same as swinging multiple times. Either it's heavy and he'll have a disadvantage towards smaller and faster swords, because one he's slower and two he'd get tired fast; or it's light because it's made of lighter materials that probably don't stand all too long. But I'm just speculating there, I'd have to know what material it is and how trained he is. Still, a faster sword would have the upper hand there I think.
Both falchions and katanas are really nice. Falchions have decent power without ruining its swiftness or accuracy, whereas the katana is swift and decisive, though lacks in power a little.

A falchion really is all about looks. I own one and it doesn't really have power unless you have a wide swing. Katanas have plenty of power if you use them correctly, but if you use them incorectly then ofcourse there won't be any power at all.
Now the sword I like isn't really a sword but more of a "tool". It is call the Ninja Shoge and basically it is a steel/iron hook with a blade coming out of it and a fairly long chain that you can use in many ways. In terms of actual blades then I would pick... The Sword of Omens. I like the idea of it and it has some cool features.
