Hi, I've been on a lot of forums and this one is quite nice. One suggestion I have for the community, is have some type of icon on the side, or above, or wherever that states the forum topics that you have wrote in already.
After a while, my poor old memory, cannot keep straight all the topics I have already posted in and I know that double posting is usually frowned upon.
Double posting is if you post twice in a row (usually with mere minutes in between). You can post in a thread as many times as you wish, as long as the post is relevant to the thread topic, and preferably without repeating yourself entirely. This is usually avoided by making the post relevant to the discussion.
I was a little off with the double posting issue. You are right, Cenere, about that. I understand that posting several times in one thread is no issue. But that's the problem, I probably would repeat myself not knowing that I had already posted in that topic. Yes, the simple resolve to this would be to read the entire thread over to see if I had posted already, but some of these threads here are rather long and several pages in length. Just a thought. /pb
I get what you mean pause, sometimes in the non debating forums i forget if i've posted my favourite breakfast or birthday, although what if you post in 100+ threads? Would make this icon/list very annoying.
The best way to get around this is to post the link to the thread you are active in (Such as the religious debates for example) onto your profile, then you'll know where they are if you want to quickly access them.

I'm sure they are working on it. Most of the newer forums have this option, and since there will be an upgrade in the foreseeable future I'm sure it will be utilized.
