after you shot heavy weapon like shotgun or rocketlauncher, it has long delay time to shot another bullet... so, try to press Z and X rapidly... he will change waepon after shot... simple he ???

the rocketlauncher is slow even when you max it , the shotgun si still short ranged ,So the machine gun is the best weapon . i finished the game using only the machine gun wich will become much stronger when you max it.
I don't really think so. By the time the enemy fire at me, I am already about a fingerwidth away from them, with my shotgun out. Boom Fire, Switch to Rocket Launcher, Boom fire.
