Dear flash programmers,

in many shooting- or jump & run games it happens that you use the z and x keys for important commands like shooting, change the weapons or even to jump. So I conclude that the most of you are not aware that peoples of other countrys have keyboards which unfortunately have a small difference to the traditional english keyboard. This difference is that the z and x keys are not side by side which causes the problem that the game is difficult to play and hard to beat.
So it would be very kind if the players could be able to select a comfortable control for their own keyboard, or if you give them the ability to set their own keys for the given game commands at the beginning of the game. Another idea would be to search an official version of the game controlling keys which would fit to the most existing keyboards.
So if you keep this suggestion in mind and think of it in your further projects you would do the whole flash gaming community a great favor and the players would be able to enjoy your amazing games at the same standart.

One of those who have another keyboard,
Landoo.

Those games aren't developed by Armor Games, so posting here won't do much. The games that do utilize z and x were probably built using Flixel.

The newest game where i saw this was called MercX.[url=http://armorgames.com/play/12231/mercx] But during the loading time of the game you were able to see the armor games label gift( the two fighting swords). Was this game not develloped by armorgames although this official lable was showed at the beginning?

The AG logo doesn't necessarily mean it was developed by Armor Games. Instead, it means the game is sponsored by Armor Games (if not developed by AG).

If the game was developed by Armor Games, after the sword clashing it should say "Developed by" above the sword and shield with "Armor Games" below the sword and shield. CoinBox was developed by Armor Games and has the "Developed by" above the sword and shield and "Armor Games" below the sword and shield. MercX just says "Armor Games" below the sword and shield.

And which advantages does armorgames takes out of it, if it permits to upload games, which weren't developed by the payed programmers of armorgames.

Thank you gantic for your responses, but in the end i have one last question. I once wanted to upload a game made by me programmed with a program called gamemaker ,wich you probably know, but then i realized that it was just allowed to upload falsh games to armorgames and no .exe data. But when i entered the gamemaker site yesterday they said that they will release a new gamemaker in september wich will be compatibel with the most browsers, because the game will than be HTML5! so is it than possibel to upload this game to armorgames because its in HTML5 ?
