Starting about three months (+/-) ago, I began to have a strange problem with loading games: sometimes, the game loads and plays properly, but other times the game window is just a black screen with a little tab at the top-left that says something about "secured by swf" (or something like that, don't remember exact verbiage). This screen doesn't go away, you can't click the tab, and the only fix is to reload the page. This has happened on several games but is most common with Raze. What gives?

Okay, just happened again, except this time it also shut down my browser. Message text was: "Protected by secureSWF." Who/what is doing this, how do I stop it, and what do they think they're protecting against?!

This is extremely odd. Try updating the browser, your shockwave, and your flash plug in. If that doesn't work, clear your cache and cookies. If not, use a different browser.

Have done all of the above regularly as part of computer upkeep. I should note that despite my profile being recent, I've been playing games here for a few years and never had this problem until recently. As to browser, I'm using "Safari," which has a good track record. There is another browser system on this computer, but it's basically just "there," doesn't really do anything.

Do you mind taking a screen shot of it?

Also, have you tried other web browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, or Opera? It could just be a problem within Safari. Do you have any parental settings on your computer that could cause this to happen?

You should still consider using IE or FireFox. Those 2 seem to be the browsers that are working.

Don't know how or if I even have the capability.

Don't have these. I doubt that some of those would even be compatible, as I am using a MAC system.

Nope.

Like I said earlier, Safari works well, and this has been a recent and sporadic problem encountered only on this site, and predominately with Raze. This leads me to believe that there might be a problem like a virus or something damaging files on the AG servers, or maybe just some corrupted code that needs fixed. I really can't say though, as I'm not a geek of any type. I would appreciate if one of the Admins or whomever could check on AG's side of things too.

They are compatible on Macs.

I doubt it's a virus on AG, and I doubt it's the servers. I downloaded and installed Safari earlier to check if games were functioning on it, and I didn't experience any problems with it. Perhaps your version is outdated? Also have you tried right clicking on the game > settings > then setting the storage space to unlimited? If you don't allow enough storage space then it won't let you play the games.

Then go on to Safari and download one of them.

I am using the latest variant, and my storage is wide open. As I said earlier, the games usually play perfectly; it is very random and infrequent when the problem arises, but when it does it's really annoying, as I have to reload anywhere from 1-4 times.

I doubt it's a virus on AG, and I doubt it's the servers.

Well, it is only on this site... maybe a random block by an AG firewall? Though why? I don't know. I can work around the problem, I just think someone should find the source.
