Hello Armor Gamer's! I'd like to propose a suggestion on feedback comments on games. I've recently passed by a LOT of horrible 7-10 feedback comments on many games that aren't feedback at most times. Mostly either "This game is bad and stupid. nuff said" or "Pfft what a horrible game. it's just really stupid" etc. What annoys me is that those posts are just pretty much short posts for Armor Points. What we should do is increase the word count of detecting spam by atleast 13-20 words. And have the word cap LOCKED until you reach the minimal amount of words. What I believe this does is it will probably force you to actually make detailed feedback on games. Instead of just insulting the game with 7 words. How about give reasons for more then 15 words? Typing more then 10 words isn't that hard. Heck this topic I'm writing probably has more then 50. Game creators rely on feedback. Hopefully doing this will increase the amount of good feedback on games making the creators able to improve on there mistakes and make better games. So what do you guys say? Any opinions on this?
Eh. Some comments that are 7-10 words that I've seen are pretty understandable and accurate. Increasing the words won't probably change the problem. The reason that it's 7 word minimum is because nobody can say much with less then 7 words.
No, I'm going to hate it. Most comments are small with 3-10 words. If that happened, and had some punishment for making small posts, probably many would be punished, and that would not be good.

This has been suggested somewhere before, buried very deep in the AG3 forum - maybe not that deep, but deep enough i couldn't be bothered looking for it.
The suggestion went pretty much that there should be a detector of how many words are used in a comment, and that certain words would be necessary.
However i don't think it's a good idea. Why should it bother you? Spammers will be spammers: even if there's a system in place, they'll find away around it. Also, what about the comments such as "Just to let you guys know, game won't load." Less than thirteen words, but highly useful. Another factor (I might be wrong) is that AP won't be awarded for posting comments anyways, so it won't affect peoples rank anymore.
If you will kindly note, that most of the game comments are between 10-15 word count.
If you were to change the limit right now, it would cause a lot of people to lose Armor Points (this doesn't matter so much with AG3 close to release). I, personally, have quite a few ArmorPoints tied up in game comments right now, i do not think i would like to log on one day and find my rank and point count dropped overnight. It is a good idea, but the consequences would make alot of people upset.
Perhaps instead of raising the minimum number of words required, there could be a filter that allows users to decide whether comments of certain length are visible to them or not. For example, I could choose to hide any comments under ten words, or choose not to hide any at all.

Then you should flag them.

Not really, people will just put the same word over and over again if there's a limit.
I could choose to hide any comments under ten words, or choose not to hide any at all.
That's basically giving everyone a moderator power, it's a bad idea. People will be abusing it everywhere just because they don't agree with what has been said or if they just want to mess with people.
That sounds like a good idea, you can't set a high word limit, I've seen some very good comments with few words.
Comments below seven words can't explain things about the game. Most comments below seven words are just "this game is good", "this game is terrible", etc., if you leave something like that then you should explain why it's good or bad. I don't see how you've found good comments under seven words.
Instead of increasing the word count, or rather, making it automatic that no game comments can be below X amount of words, they should improve the spam filter/bot then just run that every day or every few days, whenever it's most needed/convenient.
Also to mention, you won't receive armor points from community participation in AG3, as in commenting and posting. It'll come from achievements in games.
