I hope it doesn't hit East Coast. Actually i hope it doesn't hit anywhere >.> I've never been affected by a hurricane but the reports from Irene i got from my friends weren't good.

If anyone lives near where it's travelling too, good luck and stay safe.

not sure what a hurricane is like, i live on the west coast and were still getting 100 degree temps, soi just hope they can prepare in time

Lol same here. In my town the temperature reached 101 on Sunday..It has gone up to 113 before.....

If that hurricane hits the east coast then it will be a catastrophe because they are still recovering from Irene.

well stop recovering. don't waste money and wait for the next to hit 1st.

The problem is that the hurricane was last week and some people still don't have power. It begins to be a huge public safety issue.

Good news! It appears now as if Katia will turn after Bermuda, and before the U.S.! Everyone MAY be spared the nastiest effects, besides rip currents!

I read the news and it said that it can turn into a C3, not worse from Irene though.
