I have noticed theres a shortage of players in Exit Path 2 (to be more specific a shortage of palyers in the advanced server) and want somebody to play with so if you level 25 or higher please join the advance server (You can count on me being there since im to high of level to play on intermediate) and since i dont have the exitPass it gets quite boring easily and makes the game unplayable for me since i have no one to play with.
The amount of players decreasing is probably because people have been saying EP2 was a huge disappointment. Which it kinda was in my opinion. Not that I don't like John, he's been doing a great job with his games.
Not really, it's just a majority of the community (by that I mean the people who regularly post/used to post regularly in the General Exit Path Discussion thread) don't even play it because they are disappointed in it. It doesn't have most things John said he would implement, it just has private rooms, new stages, and better graphics. There's really no point in playing it aside from doing private matches, most tend to stick with EP1 as it is overall better than EP2. It doesn't have twenty+ bugs and you can actually play the game without experiencing lag after two-six matches.
Also to add, it isn't that fun when you can't play with others freely on your account. Once you reach a certain level your stuck with that range, and most people in a certain range (advanced) don't even play, so there's really no point in even playing the game if you are past the point where you can't join intermediate.
Not exactly; it just wasn't nearly as good as the original. There's a difference between "terrible game" and "didn't meet expectations because the bar was set very high". This one has a lot more problems than the first too: The glitches are bad, the lag is bad and I dislike that "rank seperation" in multiplayer (too good to play against noobs or something?).
i would still play it, i was a big fan of ep1 and i liked the 2nd, not as much as the original, but it was alright, im lvl 80 in it so i cant even go on custom rooms anymore because noobs complain im to good or that i hack, i just gave up on it and stoped playing :/

Without all those things he said/promised to put in the game AND all the problems/glitches/bugs, it's a terrible game (as in a bad game). There's barely anything you can do in EP2. It's EP1, but with better graphics and more levels. And the levels aren't that good either, you have one or two routes and that's it. There's no variety in that game, it doesn't have the level of fun EP1 has.
The only good thing I can see in EP2 is the private rooms feature. John should've just kept EP1's design and just added all that stuff to EP1. Or actually FINISH creating EP2. Rather than putting an unfinished game up, seems like he did that from the lack of things.
From what I've seen of the game comments on EP2, it's simply John's fanboys rating it a ten just because it's from John, rather than looking at all the good and bad things in the game, then forming a rating.
too good to play against noobs or something?
What I take of that feature is that John didn't want to put up with newcomers whining about hackers all the time. There's not many pros I can see of that, I see one, and that's people not complaining about hackers. But there are more cons than there are pros, and this thread is proof of that.

I don't really understand why he put that in the game, the level 80 I mean. just need about 400k (?) to get to there. While in the GEPD he said you needed about ten million or something high like that.
I think this game suffered from being over hyped and also being rushed. Its sad because it had the potential to be better than the first but it just fell short. I only played it for a few days compared to EP I played nonstop for weeks.
Well, weren't you excited at all when he started mentioning all those wonderful things? And even discussing them with us? Most EP players would, as those things would've made EP much better.
As for rushing it, that isn't our fault. Sure we asked John when it would be up or give us a date range for when we could expect it, but that didn't make him rush.

Me too, I played it for about three days then I got bored of it due to me not being able to player with others, advanced being empty, and me having an overall dislike for it.
