But on most stages there are turns and obstacles, so using overflow is rather impractical because it's useless to use on those stages. If the stage is something where it's just a straight run, then it's best to use overflow, but otherwise, normal flow will ensure the victory.
That's difficult to do considering there are many spikes, axes, buzz saws, and poles. Being able to over flow and still be alive after that is something that'll take quite a while to do. Also to mention; the character control in EP2 is terrible, your character moves very slowly when you attempt to turn. Overall on the stages it's better to flow wisely with normal flow rather than conserving flow to get overflow then use that speed, you'll most likely die.
its not always useless, if u have played the game long enough it improves ur time by a couple of secs on most llvs if u use it, but u will most likely kill urself if u dont know the lvls by heart, and nontroppo's list basicly sums up witch lvl u should use it on
Yeah, but don't think overflow exists only for experts. Expert or not, every people should use overflow to their advantage! I know using overflow can be your disadvantage or your downfall, but at least try hard to master overflow to your advantage?
Oh, i know there are some lvls which you use overflow 100%, but for lvls that don't, why don't you try it out?
For people that still thinks overflow is impossible to master on all lvls: Don't bother trying hard, but for experts or people who loves challenging, give it a shot.
Not always, but on most stages if you overflow there's a high percentage you'll die. In most cases normal flow is better to use than overflow.

You need to know when to and when not to use it. Telling everyone to use overflow on every stage is absurd for the reasons I've given. You also won't be able to get overflow in most cases because of the twist and turns and the death traps.
try hard to master overflow to your advantage?
It's not as easy as it sounds. Mastering overflow without losing your flow will take a lot of time, and it looks like I have to mention this again; there are a lot of deathtraps and twist and turns on each stage won't work in your favor.
For people that still thinks overflow is impossible to master on all lvls: Don't bother trying hard, but for experts or people who loves challenging, give it a shot.
It's not impossible, but it's very difficult to do seeing that you'll die most of the time when overflowing.
And for people who thinks just using normal flow is easier and better, be my guest.
Because it is in most cases. Have fun trying to gather overflow when you have to turn your player on stages and near deathtraps, it's very difficult to do and it's better to simply use normal flow.
Take EP1 as an example, on the stage over and under it's better to do the over the wall double jump rather than doing the drop because there's a higher chance you will die from it and lose the race. Now look at EP2, it's better to use normal flow in most cases because you won't die from it and you'll be going faster in most cases. Sure overflow gives you a better boost, but it isn't worth losing the race because it's a bit faster and will give you a lead for a few seconds, if you mess up once, it's over with. It's wiser to take the safe route rather than the death route.
Ok, mastering overflow and using overflow can be a death route. I admit it. But even mastering overflow can take a lot of time, i just want everyone to try and be patient.
If you don't want to use or master overflow, have it your way. That's all i want to say.
You said overflow is better than normal flow, but it's not. In some stages (about seven-ten of them) it's good to use it, but overall it's better to use normal flow. I know you're not trying to force people to use it; what I'm trying to get through to you is that it's overall better to use normal flow. Using overflow on all stages when you gather it is physically impossible and will result in death.
