There is still a trick to do that:

http://armorgames.com/category/all/rating#games - the best rated games of all time.
Actually the "all" in the address can be anything as long as it's not the name of a real category. So http://armorgames.com/category/I-like-pie/rating#games will work perfectly as well.

Actually, all games would be shown by the trick. They would simply be ordered by number of plays or by rating.
