I don't like it when I'm watching t.v and my parents always come around and see what I'm watching and they get mad at me cuz they think I'm too young to be watching Futurama, Family Guy, and American Dad and my parents think i'm too immature to watch these cartoons, I disagree, I think being 14 is well old enough to watch Family Guy and American Dad.
Yea I used to watch Wilfred till my mom saw a bad episode and didn't want me taping it, I'm too lazy to watch it on the internet (or wait till 11pm to watch it) so I gave up on the show. Family guy is out of question in my family too.
Sometimes when I'm listening to music my uncle walks in wondering what I'm listening too and listens with me.

I remember when I was younger (about 12 or so) I watched Adult swim a lot, and when I watched shows on there like Family guy or Super Milk Chan and I lowered the volume or changed the channel when my grandma came in.
My mom doesn't care. She'll occasionally hop on my computer to defrag my disk or clear my cookies without my knowledge for whatever reason, but other than that I've got no worries. She'll occasionally look to see what I'm doing out of curiosity, but I doubt it's to see if I'm doing anything wrong. Not like I do anything "inappropriate" while she's awake, but she'll occasionally watch me pirating or something along those lines and not really care.

Haha I used to be in a really offensive group in a game and I had to hide the chat bar whenever my parents came by.
I do not like it. It's not that it makes me angry, it's just makes me feel like they don't trust me. Like they think I am doing something I shouldn't be. My dad likes to hover, my mom stops looks at the screen and leaves. I just don't fell that they always need to know who I am talking to or what I am talking about or what I am doing. Also, it's not like I am going to download a bunch of unnecessary or inappropriate thing. I don't like having a computer that runs slow because it is filled with stupid stuff.

Then my mom just comes in and asks me what I'm doing and sits on the bed and watches me, it was really awkward. For the five minutes my mom was in my brother's room I was just running around not doing anything, because whatever you do on GTA is bad!
It's very annoying. Especially when I'm like doing hw and they cone along and expect me to do what there telling me to, like I have nothing important to do. I also hate it when they come along and watch me watch tv and making me catch them up or they start talking to me. Very annoying. Same thing with video games

Yes. My parents always check the history and I get called out of bed every night being asked what site this is or why did you spend *insert # here* hours here etc. My dad just brings a chair up and sits next to me and just stares at the screen until I decide to leave. My mom just stops what she is doing and looks at me for ten minutes.

My parents are "assive" anti-video game activists so whenever one of them watches me play Dead Space or any other game I have for PC I am always told that I'm being "evil" and I'll be a lunatic one day.
What's worse is when you leave for like a minute to pee or get a drink or something and they try to take over.
This happensto me so often! I remember once I went up to get an apple and in under 5 seconds she says "Go away. I'm doing job applications". Whenever I do something she'll sit down next to me and STARE at the screen. And if I try to quit she'll take over the computer.
