I doubt it's spam since it's useful. If you scroll through the pages you find alternative programmes to Aero, but Windows and Aero are in partnership for Windows 7 as it is all over their page - they're calling it the "Windows Aero Dynamic Experience" so that would gain the best results for you.

I'm not trying to criticize you or anything.

Like I stated before, I just thought maybe somebody would have a specific, particularly good program that they could recommend.

The only other fairly decent skins include a full theme, so it depends on exactly what you want.

Black and blue.
More specifically, the background and stuff is plain black, and has "electronic blue" highlights and glows on the edges and such.

Maybe you're best looking into the window seven themes rather than just skinning your taskbar - there's a lot more on offer when you look at total themes.

Actually, you're defo better googling as the ones i came across earlier are so much better than the ones on windows website.

So far, all of the themes I've looked through (which is a lot) just have the default taskbar, but in another color. None of them are actually, like, "customized".

I downloaded a theme that had the mac taskbar, because i prefer that.

There's WinCustomize; costs money for certain things. There's Rainmeter, which you can totally deck out your desktop to look weird.

I've tried both and am currently using neither because I customized for speed and got rid of redundancies/things I don't care about.
