I used to be really into model kits - airplanes, cars and warhammer. Just takes patience and concentration. I currently have neither, so i currently don't do it.
model kits are awesome when they are done. but i don't like building them. it depends how easy it is.
Anything worth having is worth working for.
I build a little warhammer but not really anything else.
I like to build aircraft kits, especially designs from WW2 and the Cold War era. I've also worked on a few armor kits, but they tend to be harder and have more issues with part fits than others. What I really search for though are the old Monogram and Revell "action kits." If assembled right, they are full of working parts like spinning props, folding wings, and even working bomb-release mechanisms, instead of being "static."
Then you feel like you wasted oyur money on saomething you can't build
If you want the finished product, but you don't want to be the one to build it, doesn't it make more sense just to buy a finished model rather than build the whole thing yourself unwillingly?
I wouldn't think so, but whatever floats your boat.
I used to build models when I was younger and occasionally, when I'm bored, I make a few. I don't always paint them now, but that doesn't matter. When I'm done I usually give them away or I keep it if I really like it. Now I just don't have time to do them much. :/
@ somewhat, u can find clippers at hobby lobby, warhammer store or hobby centers. Also, u can go to the warhammer website and order everything u need. Such as clippers, glue, paints, tray, brushes, files, sets, exato knife and more.
