I tried searching the internet for a thing called liquid gold, (some of you might know what it is but if you don't) what liquid gold is, is it's a type of very strong acid. Now I was searching on how to make it and stuff, but I guess Liquid Gold is a slang term for it, any of you guys know what's its real name? Also what is it made out of.
And you're still wrong. It's aqua regia aka nitro-chloric acid.
I think that's using the term differently, because I know that liquid gold is used by theives, and it's nicknamed that because it can disolve almost anything.
Can't find anything about what you're talking about, Somewhat, but I did find out that "Liquid Gold" was the name of an English disco group from Northamptonshire which was active between 1977-1984.
I guess if "acid" was to reach your stomach acid, you might very well enjoy a bit of disco music, but I don't think it will dissolve that much.
Anyways, it's possible master was on to something with his link, as these are quotes from it:
Chloroauric acid is obtained by the oxidation of gold in the presence of chloride, as in aqua regia.
And further down:
during World War II, a Hungarian chemist living in Denmark, George de Hevesy, dissolved two fellow scientists' Nobel Prizes in aqua regia literally as the Nazis stormed into Copenhagen so they wouldn't be stolen
